The BlackBerry Playbook Review
I guess it's fitting that I am the one who have to write our playbook comment. Before Android and the iPhone, there were two mobile platforms / devices, I was extremely pleased: the Palm V and my BlackBerry. In fact, it was not until the iPhone that I finally let go of my last BlackBerry - the order of the e-mail era in the smartphone era.Today's BlackBerry is obviously quite different than the equipment that I used at school. And the playbook is done differently than anything RIM has ever been.
I do not think any tablet maker has perfected the formula just yet. I made it clear that in our second test of the iPad Although you can not argue that Apple's predecessor in the smartphone space is based tablet, in the long term, I still think that's everyone's game. Remember, were the leaders in the early days of the PC industry, not the ones who ultimately dominated the mature market.
What follows is our review of RIM's first attempt at building a tablet. The text book is far from perfect, but there is a foundation that can build on when RIM will have a good schedule and good execution. And if you're a BlackBerry user, there's a lot to take advantage of synergies.
