BlackBerry increasingly popular in Indonesia

BlackBerry seems more popular and managed to create their own segmentation. Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM) announced a number of smart-phone users they will be 14 million people in the world until the first quarter ended March 1 next.

First introduced in 1999, the BlackBerry is a wireless handheld device (a wireless handheld device) that supports the ability to e-mail services rushed (push-mail), mobile telephony, short messaging, Internet facsimile, Internet surfing and various other wireless capabilities.

BlackBerry hit the market first by focusing on e-mail services rushed.
In Indonesia, the service and the BlackBerry handheld is offered by three major carriers namely Indosat, Telkomsel and Excelcom. But the new Virgin and Orange are offering individual packages (retail), in addition to enterprise package.
